Please be sure to include your full name, phone number and billing/mailing address if you are submitting an obituary. The Times Union newspaper does require proof of death if an obituary is submitted by anyone other than the funeral home. This may be provided as either a scan or copy of the death certificate, obituary previously published in another paper or confirmation from either the funeral home or cremation service assisting with the arrangements.
